Model rocketry is an awesome hobby to have. Anyone familiar with it will know a very common method for ignition is through a high power switch to spark the engines. This control gives you a true pyro feeling when launching your rockets!

Nerf wars not enough? How about adding sonic grenades! This project write-up shows you how to mod some 110db personal alarms with a delay circuit like real grenades. Take a look at this ear piercing project.

The door bell shocking gag is probably as old as door bells, but becareful with this one. The project write-up is lacking on visuals but everything you’d need to know to build one is there. Just be extra careful, I think these guys were really out for revenge on someone.

This project is a definite crowd pleaser. Any form of levitation or suspension always gets the attention of people as it looks physically impossible. The project write-up explains in great detail how to duplicate it and build your own.

The theory behind Jacob’s Ladder has been around for quite some time and the project has been reproduced many times in many different ways. This project write-up gives you some background theory and shows a simple implementation of it.

This is a fairly straight forward Relay-based project. The Arduino microprocessor controls turning the lights off and on via the Relays. A simple project, but it shows you the path to starting standard home automation.

Happy New Year To Everyone! In that same spirit here is a nice project write-up for creating your own wirelessly controlled fireworks display. The core information for duplicating the device can be found, but no hardware schematic.

The GunBot is basically a remote controlled gun and is a more difficult project as it involves both remote vision and control. Only a high level detail of the hardware & software is provided by that should be enough to get anyone started with a project similar to this one. Take care not to shoot anything that could be harmed!

Today’s project write-up is a very in depth one. It covers the creation of a combat robot for a tournament. It goes from start to finish with several pictures. Since it’s remote control, the electronics and most all parts are just off the shelf components. Take a look if you want to make something dangerous!

Unfortunately for today’s project, there were too many projects & only in pdf format! Even so, there’s a link to the index with 10 really good projects & write-ups. They use various electronic components and you can learn a lot by attempting to reproduce the projects. Take a look, give it a shot!
