"FPV is one of my ultimate goals flying a quadcopter. The quadcopter FPV videos are just so amazing! You need at least a video receiver, transmitter and a camera for the FPV system, and it could get quite expensive."

"This is my newest microcontroller board. Its based on an ATMega8/88 Controller. It’s suitable for small automation and measurement applications. The application can be battery powered or use a small external power supply. This board uses some of the definitions from Roboternetz."

"Last week I finally got time to do a bit of work. I made my own PCB 🙂 . I wish I had learned this back in college….What PCBs did I make? The line follower circuit I explained before…..This new robot uses very little wiring. None of the wires have been soldered. I have also replaced the mounts for the sensors. I will describe everything in today’s post."

"Presenting ‘6buttons’; a simple six button keypad based on the QProx QT160 charge transfer proximity sensor chip (the brains of the operation). Special mylar capacitors are required for it to work properly. I tried cheap-o ceramics with terrible results."

"A few weeks ago I was asked about creating a musical-effect display with an RGB LED cube kit from our friends over at Freetronics, and with a little work this was certainly possible using the MSGEQ7 spectrum analyzer IC. In this project we’ll create a small add-on PCB containing the spectrum analyzer circuit and show how it can drive the RGB LED cube kit."

"To the RC car I removed all the electronics except the motors and i installed 6 new AA 1,2V rechargeable NiMh 1900mAh batteries. I designed new electronics based on Arduino with a HC-05 Bluetooth module and two h-bridge ic’s. The SN754410 for steering motor and the L298N for forward/backward motor. For both ic’s i connected parallel the channels, 1 with 4 and 2 with 3."

"As a beacon, unmodulated white light sucks….So, what to do? After rejecting a few stupid ideas I finally got interested in using X-Band microwave signals as a beacon. Oh my. Sounds pretty intimidating huh. 10,000 mHz radio is black magic. Or is it?"
