"Who has not wanted to vacuum when being away from home? The technique I use is a hack to take apart the remote control of the robot and connect it to an Arduino UNO. To control the Arduino from PC via USB, I use Messenger and lets Eventghost manage all communication with Serial-plugin."

"The concept is pretty simple. It is a constant current sink controlled by 2 opamps. Two paralleled logic level MOSFETs do the heavy lifting (heatsink!). Another pair of paralleled P-MOSFETs + a Zener diode act as reverse polarity protection. A capacitor is used to keep the first opamp from oscillating."

"The biggest stumbling block to the project was the computer’s interface. The Apple Extended Keyboard II is from the days of ADB, or Apple Desktop Bus. The internet revealed two possible solutions: An expensive and sometimes-hard-to-find adapter by Griffin, or a $16 microcontroller and some DIY elbow grease. Naturally, I chose the latter."

"A friend asked me if I could build him a device that would allow him to take photos of his products in 360 degrees. That kind of photo is actually an animation that consists of several photos of the same product but from different angles. It means that we need a device that can be controllable and that could take pictures on even intervals."
