USB can seem mysterious to anyone new to electronics as it is a very complicated protocol of Hosts and Slaves. This project takes that difficulty away and show you how to build a USB based video game controller from an NES controller. With some additional hardware and software it works like a charm.

Simply put: “The RBox is a game console that is simple enough to build on the prototype area of a dev kit; no pcb required just a crystal, a few capacitors and resistors.” The project write-up has all the details, schematics and source code to see how this bad boy was made.

The rock paper scissors playing glove lets you play the game with only 1 person, you. An arduino powered brain tracks your moves and then plays against you. Look out because it will get a little smarter with each round.
