Nostalgia hits him when you look at this project. Now you can use all the old controllers with your Wii whether it is N64 or NES. The project write-up gives you all the hardware interfacing information you’ll need to put everything together.

Electronic dice would seem to take the fun out of playing any board game, but what the heck right? We’ll make it anyway. This project uses an AVR microcontroller and leds to show you the number ‘rolled’. All software & hardware schematics are there waiting for you.

Wiimote hacking has been around for quite a while and so everything about it is pretty much out in the open now. This project write-up explains how to transmit and receive data with the Wiimote using an ATmega microcontroller.

This project is extremely useful for you flight simulator gurus out there. Commercially available joysticks are never good enough for games that demand pinpoint accuracy. Find out how to mod your joystick or even create your very own.

The Oscilloscope is a fundamental tool for anyone into electronics and these old antique ones are very dear to our hearts. This project is one of the better uses I’ve seen of these old o-scopes. Using an ATmega32 to control the crt inside the o-scope, “Scopetris” was born. The write up is very entertaining so give it a look!

This project is border-line indescribable. Using an old TV a really sweet arcade game setup was created. He’s actually not 100% finished with it but the progress shown is pretty sweet and most importantly; already functional.

Breakout has remained close to every gamer’s heart since early on in gaming history. This project website explains how to build a simple AVR powered surface mount setup of the classic game. The layout is very clean since it is surface mount & the author offers all source code for download.

The console system this guy created uses 3 microcontrollers (and a mess of wires) but it works well. He even revised his original design onto an FPGA board for Alien Slaughter II!
