This week we are learning how to detect sound in our new PyroEDU course: An Introduction To Sensors. In this lesson we’ll look at everything there is to know about Sound Sensors and perform a fun experiment to give you a hands-on feel for how they work. We all hear and use sound in our daily lives, so we must also learn how to detect sound electronically. In this lesson we will use an electret microphone to convert sound from an acoustic wave, into an electrical signal.
