Building A Breathalyzer

If you’ve ever been curious about simple breathalyzer theory this project is for you. They used a MQ-3 alcohol gas sensor and an arduino board to build it. The write-up has the software, hardware and a video of the working project in action.

Hi,
I am interesting in building this Breathalyzer and put them on our trucks. How this thing work? What parts do i need to do this. Is it possible only the MQ3 sensor will be installed on the vehicle and will give an output? Then that out put will incorporate on our alarm on the vehicle.
Please advise
