"This is the fourth generation of colour organ that I have built and, unlike previous designs, uses entirely digital filtering for excellent frequency band separation – a natural for me since I developed a DSP course, CTEC1631, at Niagara College in 2005 for the department of Computer Engineering Technology."

"I thought it would be a neat to build a toy that records and plays back beats like a simple drum machine. For those who are musically inclined, it provides endless hours of entertainment and even has practical purposes in learning and practicing music. Even better if it used less than $5 worth of parts and could be built in 30 minutes."

"For the final project we have decided to create an inexpensive solar tracking divide to be incorporated wit DIY solar panels. Our goal is to create an open source project that is easy to follow and can be produced by anyone at a low cost."

"After being a member of PING for a while I got more and more interested in electronics and microcontroller programming. As I didn’t own a standalone digital clock, I decided to make one myself. We had all the necessary components: Seven-segment displays, a microcontroller and appropriate resistors."

"Arduino-based project to create power strip driven remotely through an Ethernet network. To turn outlets you are connecting to the microcontroller via telnet and after entering a password, you can change the status of the main lines and see if they are on or off."

And now for the final lesson in our PyroEDU Analog Electronics course! In this Lesson, we will take a look at how to make an Audio Amplifier. Here’s a quick intro of what this PyroEDU lesson is all about:
Designing a general purpose audio amplifier is a time tested favorite project of many electronics students. It shows that you are comfortable with building circuits and that you can actually make something useful! In this lesson, we will go through the process of designing a simple audio amplifier to make a very quiet audio signal really, really loud.

"The goal of my project was to design and implement a mobile robot that can be controlled wirelessly using speech as a user interface. This was my first mobile robot which I built by forking concepts from here and there. I tried to follow open standards and use opensource hardware and software components wherever possible."

"Enjoy retro N64 games, but can’t stand the controller? That’s the situation I found myself in about 7 years ago, back in 2004. So I built an adaptor, to use Game Cube controllers on the N64."

"I have always like the idea of a physical music sequencer but I didn’t want to make one like the other I had seen so I decided to come up with, what I believe, is a unique take on the concept an RFID sequencer."
