"This article will explain how to teardown a FreshRoast SR500 roaster and probably an SR300 as well. If you are looking to modify an SR500 the following content will be useful as well. It will include technical information about the components that make the SR500 work and suggestions of where modifications will need to take place if you wish to split fan and heater control to external dimmers, VARIAC devices, or otherwise control your SR500 with a Microchip PIC, Arduino, or other microcontroller or PID controller device."

"This FPGA Project was completed on Christmas Day 2013. I wanted to assemble surface mount components, and to do this I need a reflow oven. Everybody on the internet seems to build their own, so I set about building one using a FPGA. Everything has been implemented inside the FPGA, without there being any software in the control loop."

"This is the robotic arm I built to demonstrate at the Cub Scout meeting a few days ago. It’s main construction material is hardboard — sort of like clipboard material but a little bit more flexible. Ideally it would be built out of aluminum, but hardboard is very fast to shape and drill through, so in the interest of time it was chosen."

"The abbreviation CNC stands for computer numerical control, and refers specifically to a computer “controller” that reads G-code instructions and drives a machine tool, a powered mechanical device typically used to fabricate components by the selective removal of material."

"Since ERNE was originally created as part of my Senior Capstone, I decided to compile some of the work I’ve done with the robot into a single video, along with some info of where this project has taken me."

"Who has not wanted to vacuum when being away from home? The technique I use is a hack to take apart the remote control of the robot and connect it to an Arduino UNO. To control the Arduino from PC via USB, I use Messenger and lets Eventghost manage all communication with Serial-plugin."

"The Melloman was mostly built in my kitchen…with a Bucket o’ Walkman and a Walkman Army and some breadboarding of the first idea of opto-coupler keying."

"It has 4 digit seven segment display. It can count from 1 to 9999 pieces. (01b) Input can be delayed, so that every input received will block the counter for an amount of time, to prevent double reading on too sensitive item sensors. User can program it to emit an alarm when a number of items is reached."

"An Analog & Digital propeller clock i made! It isn’t Real its just because your so awfully slow!!! 😉 based on an afterimage phenomenon, I.E. the reaction slowness of the retina, the illusion of reality our brains are ‘lying’"
