Compile The Schematic & Project
After building the schematic we'll need to compile it before we load it onto the DE2 board. Again this process is fairly painless but it may take a minute or two.

When it's done compiling some warnings will be seen, don't worry about them »
The project & schematic are now compiled. The warnings that showed up were because we need to tell the project what the input and output pins represent in our project. So we'll need to tell quartus which pins on the FPGA on the DE2 board our 2 input and 1 ouput pins should be set to.
