Wireless Interface RF Modules

An Overview Of The Wireless Interface RF Modules
The transmitter and receiver rf modules are cheap at $15 per pair adn offer a great advantage of being able to slip into any circuit and replace a single data wire. This tutorial explained using a simple example, how to pass 1200bps USART ascii text across the link with the hopes that you can duplicate this tutorial and then expand upon it for your own more complex needs.

What To Do Now
If you are able to build a similar wireless setup to what was done in this tutorial, you are ready to go even further and build a complex command structure, or even add a seperate 315 MHz system so that both microcontrollers can talk to one another. This tutorial gives you the basics to get going, but leaves many roads unexplored, so don't be afraid to travel them.

Conclusion
In my opinion this was a very successful tutorial. It brings together many concepts, like using the serial (USART) interface to send/receive commands and using the RF modules to transmit/receive the commands wirelessly. These are very powerful ideas, but here I tried my best to show that they are also very simple ideas that don't take too much effort to implement.
