Install Quartus II
The Quartus II program is pretty huge as you'll see, so for the install you'll need 1.5-3 gigabytes free space on your harddrive. Without further adew, it continues:
Preparing to setup:
Make sure to select all the options (you only really need Quartus II...for now):
Accept the license agreement »
Make sure to install in a directory without spaces in the name:
Quartus II will take a while to install »
Then the megacore installs... »
And then the NIOS II Embedded Design Suite.... »
And lastly Model-Sim installs.. »
Turn on talkback to help Altera »
All done! Click Finish.
The easiest part is now over. Quartus II and all its friends have been installed. If you downloaded all of these products, you'll have to install them one by one manually.
