The Altera DE2 Board: Introduction

           The idea and simple implementation of FPGA and CPLDs has been around for quite some time, however, their role in modern electronics has only in the last decade become profound. These devices offer a way to have program processes run in parallel instead of in series.

           This tutorial will cover:
1. Getting Quartus II.
2. Installing the Quartus II Suite.
3. The ByteBlaster Programmer.
4. Getting a Quartus II License.

           This tutorial is setup for the first timer, so don't worry about not understanding something. There are alot of pictures.
