The Autonomous Drifter: Introduction

           The Autonomous Drifter spawned from a project/tutorial suggestion in the forums. Namely from Simplywel. In the most simplest of terms, it's a hacked rc car, but really only the remote control has been hacked. The car itsself wasn't altered in any way.
           A microcontroller inside the controller allows your computer to give commands to the remote which controls the car. Using some simple automation we get an Autonomous Drifter!
           Take a look at the following video. It shows what the car is capable of how it works and is definitely worth a look:

Purpose & Overview of this project
           The goal of this project is to modify an rc car remote control so that we can use a standard computer & keyboard to control it. Moving a step forward from that point, we can then create a simple windows script to automate the car. The script should be easily modified so that drifting can be achieved in various ways.
