The Autonomous Drifter: Conclusion

An Overview Of The Autonomous Drifter
The system worked remarkably well even though it wasn't a pro at drifting. The rc car was made in china and not tokyo, japan so I'll claim that as the reason why. The car ittself wasn't modified and for a truely autonomous vehicle that would have been a much better route to have taken as it offers feedback for error correction. Trial & error drifting isn't meant to be

What To Do Now
This project opens alot of doors to anyone new to the microcontroller/embedded field. There are many directions you can go to expand this project. You can take the board out of the car and use the RF connection for data transmission, uou could hack the car and add some sensors for feedback or you could just put everything back together and enjoy old school remote control.

Conclusion
This project was a great idea and here's a shout out to Simplywel from the forums for the suggestion. Admittedly I expanded the project past his initial suggestion but it turned out pretty cool. I'll call this project quite a success and all done. Now go build one yourself!
