With the hardware circuitry put on a breadboard & wired up and the PIC programmed with the software we just briefly looked over let's see it in action. The following video demonstrates the stepper motor moving forward according to the software:
Perhaps not the most exciting video but it proves the stepper motor runs. It is pretty clean too, not much more than a subtle hum that stepper motors typically make when they are constantly spinning.
