The Software
The software we'll use on the desktop/laptop end to program the FPGA is called Quartus II and it's made by Altera. We'll only be looking at the programming option inside of Quartus II which is located under Tools ~> Programmer. The picture below shows you where it is and what it looks like.
I'm going to assume you already have a board with a FPGA/CPLD and a JTAG port like the CPLD Dev Board and we'll move forward to test out the breadboard style ByteBlasterMV that we've put together. Let's go!
