We got the breadboard ByteBlasterMV assembled, let's give it a test drive and see it this thing actually works. Make sure none of the resistors on the breadboard are touching one another, power up your FPGA/CPLD and then get to it. The video below demonstrates my attempt.
Hurray! We love success, as the green bar flowing to 100% indicated in the Quartus II programmer utility. The CPLD programs really fast fortunately. Some larger FPGAs will probably take longer, but overall most FPGA programming should never take more than a minute, from start to finish.
