Xbee Receiver Hardware Design
The next step in getting all the hardware ready to go is building the receiver circuit. This one is virtually the same as the transmitter except it has an output LED instead of input buttons.
Building The Circuit
Again, here are all the parts necessary for building the receiver.
·First assemble the power circuit.
·Then make all of the vital PIC connections.
·Next add the two LEDs and two resistors for output.
·Lastly add the Xbee module and wire it to the PIC.
·Now we have the transmitter and receiver ready for software.
·Wiring the LCD portion of the circuit proved to be the biggest pain as you can see above. However, it worked so that's all that matters in the end.
