Parts List Details
           You may or may not be familiar with the parts above so a picture of each item has been included to help give you an idea of what they look like. I'll go through and explain each part briefly below.

DB-25 Parallel Male Connector
           This is a generic parallel port connector that has 25 pins. You can find these at any electronics store. This is used to connect to the host computer when you're ready to program your PLD.

74LS244 Octal Buffer
           The octal buffer is the core device in the ByteBlaster design. It is what allows the flow of data to program the PLD device. LS stands for Low-Power Schottky.

33Ω Resistors
           These just act as current limiting resistors. Limiting the current input into or out of the 74LS244 makes sure other devices don't get hurt by potential current surges.
