Arduino Waveform Generator

The Package Arrives
As is the normal expectation now, the package was professionally packaged and shipped via UPS. So all the parts arrived in perfect condition. In my opinion this should be standard for every company, since good shipping practices are a must when mailing sensitive electronic parts. Below you can see the initial unboxing photos.

The Arduino Waveform Generator Kit itsself comes in this plastic package with all of the parts individually wrapped and sorted, and a set of color instructions printed out.

What's In The Box
Now the really exciting part, getting all the parts out. Jameco has done a nice job labeling each part with their in-house part number and if you look on the parts list included in the instructions you'll find their part number listed next to the part name, which is useful for identifying anything that looks mysterious. For me the parts are all pretty obvious what they are, so I'll go ahead and take them out of their baggies as well.

The main parts aside from connectors, headers, resistors and capcaitors are the LM386 low power audio Op-Amp, the PCB and the Arduino Uno board. The entire kit and project focuses around the functionality that these key parts offer us. So now that we have the parts out and identified, let's go forward and see how this thing works.
