### Re: The Resistor [Post Homework Here]

[1]What is electrical resistance?

its an electrical unite describe the voltage that has to be applied to pass unity of current from point to another.

[2] What ‘Units’ are used to describe electrical resistance?

OHM'S

[3]Convert the value of 100,000Ω into Kilo-Ohm and Milliohm.
100,000 equals 100 kohm and equals 100,000,000 Milliohm

[4] Which would work better to connect a circuit together: Silver or Plastic? Why?

silver, its a sort of metal that has a conductivity and its resistance for current is low,but plastic has very large resistance
prevents any current to flow.

I hope you were able to perform the insulators vs. conductors experiment. That is a very fundamental idea about resistors and electricity!

### Re: The Resistor [Post Homework Here]

HOMEWORK QUESTION 1
What is electrical resistance?
Resistors act like a funnel in an electrical circuit dropping the amps through resistance.

HOMEWORK QUESTION 2
What ‘Units’ are used to describe electrical resistance?
The Ohm (greek symbol omega) is the units of measure of resistance.

HOMEWORK QUESTION 3
Convert the value of 100,000Ω into Kilo-Ohm and Milliohm.
100 Kilo-Ohm = 100,000,000 Milliohm

HOMEWORK QUESTION 4
Which would work better to connect a circuit together: Silver or Plastic? Why?
Silver, as plastic has a higher resistance than silver

### Re: The Resistor [Post Homework Here]

What is electrical resistance?
its a measure of how strongly a material oppose current to flow.

What ‘Units’ are used to describe electrical resistance?
OHM

Convert the value of 100,000Ω into Kilo-Ohm and Milliohm.
100,000Ohm-100KOhm and 100,000Ohm-100,000,000 mOhm

Which would work better to connect a circuit together: Silver or Plastic? Why?
Silver, because it have low electrical resistence.

Hi Shawn, Karin,

All your answers are right, good work! I hope you followed the experiments in the video as well. One additional experiment you can do is turn your Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) to the Ω setting and check the different resistances of materials, metals, plastics, glass, clothes, play-dough, water, your hand..etc...
