Quick question about schematic drawings

Postby Kevin » Wed Apr 16, 2008 7:31 pm

Chris,

I wonder which software you use to draw schematics because they look simple yet very nice and clean.
For example, this one:

Did you manually draw both H-bridge and motor or the software already has it?

Hey Kevin,

I used LogicWorks 4.0 (5.0 maybe?) and the parts are not included but you can make new parts pretty quickly.

Honestly LogicWorks is a pretty crappy program. Memory management issues make it buggy as all hell but it gets the job done and I haven't run across anything as simple and easy to use as it is.

Try Multisim it's really cool, but it takes too much time to build a new part though.

Thanks Kevin, I'll check it out. Building a new part in LogicWorks is pretty hassle-free depending on how many pins the device has.

A device with 60 or more pins gets annoying to build if you plan on labeling all the pins.
