can you help me with an answer?

Sorry for my language .

It's a hardware problem. No easy way out, you have to debug the hardware to find what connections are wrong/bad.

Glad to hear it worked. Moving to newer technology might have helped as well

Re: Has anyone taught this as a high school course?

Hi, I'm considering teaching the Modern and Digital Electronics classes to my robotics class at Lowell High school in San Francisco. I'm curious if anyone else out there has taught this as a high school class, and if so, how did it go? Sorry for the late reply. It looks like a few high schools use ...

Re: Arduino Tachometer

The design I made is not flexible or very redundant. Because of that if your fan's speed varies much in RPM from mine it's possible that erroneous data will be displayed. The best thing to do is use an oscilloscope on the interrupt pin (digital pin 2) to make sure the interrupt is indeed occurring w...

Re: 7555 Clock Issue in Lesson 6 and 7

Never did figure it out. Every lesson required 5V on the clock pin to work. I used different CPLDs, 555 timers, power supplies, etc. Completely bizzare. But I've moved on to a MAX II with an onboard clock now. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer. I used many different 7555 countless times as ...

Re: #10 Design an LED Chaser [Post Homework Here]

Hi there... yep, debugging is apparently quite a challenge! Spent a fair amount of time on this circuit now... still no luck :) but I think have isolated the issue (s). 3-8 decoder works OK. Also, I that there is another typo on the schamatic as the 3 enabling pins should be held high/low in the op...

Nope. Just a breadboard and jumper wires!

Re: USB device not recognized (Simple PIC USB IF tutorial)

Hello, Regarding the Simple PIC USB Interface tutorial, I built the hardware according to the provided schematic and was able to load the PIC .hex file, and the LEDs are blinking. When I plug it into a USB port I get the dreaded "USB device not recognized" error. I am running Windows 7 32...

Re: 8x8x8 LED cube

Hi everyone! I am about to start building the Jameco 8x8x8 LED cube. My question is what type of wire did people use to strengthen each layer of their cube ? I am worried if I use too much of a very light wire, it will not provide any structural rigidity to the cube. Also a wire which is reasonably...

Re: #2 Electricity [Post Homework Here]

1. What is Electricity? The flow of electric current. 2. What ‘Units’ are used to describe electrical Voltage, Current and Power? Voltage(V), Amperes(A), and Watts(W) 3. If you know that your desktop printer runs off of a 12 Volt power supply and uses 250 milliamp, how much power (in Watts) does yo...

Re: 7555 Clock Issue in Lesson 6 and 7

Hi. I bought the CPLD kit and have been working thru the tutorials. It has been a great experience. I am having problems with the 7555 clock being detected or maybe processed by the CPLD. I have a scope on the clock output and can see it generates consistent clocking, but the output pins are missin...

*Not homework, but a question on the lesson. Sorry if it's not the right place!* Hi there, I'm having problems with the LED chaser circuit... any thoughts/ideas gratefully received! In the circuit I put together, all 8 outputs of the 3-8 line decoder are registering a continuous positive output (al...

Hello. I could get more details about the construction of the hardware ? All the best and expect an answer as soon ...
